About

I'd been knocking this title around for years (I think I started it in junior high). I was playing around one night and suddenly I remembered I'd been noodling this song for quite some time, so I decided to flesh it out a bit. All told took about two hours to write (minus several years).

Lyrics

My oh my, oh my, my oh my, oh my, my Amanda
My oh my, oh my, my oh my, oh my, my Amanda

As I sit here watching the rain, you are on my mind
It makes me think about the love I left behind

As the lightening flashes and the thunder rolls
I can't help but think about the love I used to know

I don't even know you
I don't know where you're from
It doesn't matter, I'll take the memories to come

As I sit here dreaming, no need to wonder why
I finally found a love right before my eyes

I don't even know you
I don't know where you're from
It doesn't matter, I'll take the memories to come

As I sit here dreaming, no need to wonder why
I finally found a love right before my eyes
