Odd the news thats fit to print

It's been a number of years now since I did The Good News, a collection of news stories that avoided the "doom and gloom" the media likes to hawk so much. I tended to update daily depending on the stories I found, but while I enjoyed it, it was time-consuming and, ultimately, sporadic. (Much like this blog, huh?)
One of the subsections I called The Odd News because sometimes you find a story too bizarre to not share. And that came to mind today when I came across not one, but two stories that would have perfectly fit into The Odd News.
Boy finds missing Lego piece stuck up his nose for three years. Wow. I mean, just, wow. I have trouble having a booger in my nose, let along a Lego piece for years. Years! In his defense, toddlers aren't very good at blowing their nose (anyone who's ever held a tissue to their nose and told them to blow knows what I mean), but still. Three years.
Janitor Offers Teen $100 To Suck Her Toes, Gets Fired. I really have nothing to add to this. That's just creepy. 'Nuff said.
Now, of course, there are gears turning in my head that maybe — just maybe — there might be a place for some kind of resurrection of news on the site. If not The Good News, then at least some sort of incarnation of The Odd News. Something I can post at my leisure, rather than feeling compelled to update every day. Meh, who knows. I'm not holding my breath.
