Written shortly before recording commenced, this is my typical love song: "I don't know how to say I love you but I do." I played this one for a friend shortly after writing it and she loved it, and of course any time that happens I'm determined to record it.

b/w You Don't Need Me
I want to tell you that much is clear
But everytime I try I seem to fall
And so I say nothing at all
I want to tell you I need you here
But everytime I try I seem to fall
And so I say nothing at all
Nothing at all is all I can say
When the moment's feeling right
But it's more than I can say
If I didn't try at all tonight
I want to tell you the way I feel
But everytime I try I just can't call
And so I say nothing at all
I want to tell you my love is real
But everytime I try I seem to fall
And so I say nothing at all
Just becuase I don't say that I love you
Doesn't mean that I don't
Just because I don't say that I will
Doesn't mean that I won't
But you've got to understand
I'm a shy and broken man
All I need is a little time
To be sure how I feel
I want to tell you I love you so
But everytime I try I seem to fall
And so I say nothing at all
